This is a video I made for the Sonflowerz

I used Pro Tools, Apple Motion, and Final Cut

to make the music, motion graphics, and editing.

The music is a remix of Don Kochs amazing sequencing
and production for the song 'By Faith'.

New DESPERATIONBAND release 'UPDATE_LIVE'

Desperation Band has released a new live recording from the Desperation Conference two years ago. This two disc set is our 'Live and in a Can' if you will, or our 'I Heart' best-of kind of album. I had the honor and pleasure of being one of the electric guitarists for this recording. I love these songs as though they were my own and hope they continue to inspire praise for many years.

As promised here is a look at an attempt at carving an acoustic archtop belly. I am proud of what I learned, but it doesn't make the cut for actually being an instrument. So instead of joining all my other attempts in the garage I turned it into a cool accent piece for the music studio. I won't venture to call it 'art'! its just really cool.

Description: A soft wood similar to Spruce. Carved acoustic belly, cut in half and made into a nice accent piece. Finished in Linseed oil and bound with white plastic on the immaculate side. Mahogany stain finish and ebony wood putty on the distressed side. The distressed side has a hole and crack in the upper bout.The sound holes are bound with white plastic as well.
